This past month has been good weather wise, and especially for bees. Several members have collected swarms. This is promising in some respects as we have new members waiting for bees and some existing members whose colonies need replacing or who want to increase the number of colonies they have. Meridian Beekeepers Association was founded to further the craft of beekeeping and to raise the standard of bee husbandry by ensuring that new and experienced beekeepers alike learn to look after their bees to the highest possible standard.
Meridian has run several courses over the past few months. More than twenty are
now members and a further sixteen from Eastleigh college have attended. If you would
like to know more about what Meridian can offer you as an individual or perhaps you
